Folin Cellars Vineyard

ABOUT THE VINEYARD

Folin Vineyards is located in the Rogue Valley AVA of Southern Oregon. Farmed and managed by owners Scott and Loraine Folin, the vineyard is home to 25 acres of vines. Focusing on Rhone varietals, the vineyard is planted to Viognier, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Folin’s signature non-Rhone grape Tempranillo.

The Folin family moved to the Rogue Valley in the early 1990’s after decades of citrus and avocado farming in Temecula Valley of California. With a strong agricultural history, they focused their growing efforts on alfalfa and grass hay. In 2002 with a nudge from their oldest son Robert, several of the 300 acre farm were converted to wine grapes.

With the expansion of the vineyard to it’s current acreage, the Folin family is able to focus on high quality, low yielding vineyard blocks. As the sole fruit source for Folin Cellars wines, Folin Vineyards also supplies grapes to some of Oregon’s most well known winemakers.
